As the Managing Director with leadership skills par excellence, Sunny helped the company strike notable deals, win industry accolades and clinch several awards including ‘Top Broker Award’ from Emaar for four consecutive years. He also played an important role in the recent acquisition, which has taken the company to a three billion milestone.
In an exclusive interaction with REM TIMES, the leading real estate professional spoke about his experiences at Scorpion Properties, real estate trends that will rule the market in the years to come and his plans for the future. Q1. Looking back at your career with Scorpion Properties, what are some of the most memorable experiences that come to your mind?
Reflecting on my career at Scorpion Properties, several experiences come to mind. Leading the company to secure a Dh3 billion portfolio was a defining moment. Winning the Top Broker Award from Emaar for four consecutive years was incredibly rewarding and affirmed our hard work. Building strong partnerships with top developers and consistently delivering exceptional service to our clients were also significant highlights. These milestones reflect not just my efforts but the dedication and teamwork of everyone at Scorpion Properties, making our journey truly memorable.
Q2. What do you consider to be the most important qualities of a successful leader in the real estate industry?
A successful real estate leader must possess vision, adaptability, and strong communication skills. Visionary thinking foresees market trends and drives innovation. Adaptability helps navigate market fluctuations and regulatory changes. Effective communication builds relationships with clients, stakeholders, and team members. Reflecting on my experiences in the Dubai real estate sector since 2007, I plan to leverage these insights to explore innovative opportunities. My focus will be on sustainability, technology-driven solutions, and comprehensive real estate development, aiming to provide a one-stop shop for the Dubai real estate segment. I’m excited to embrace new challenges and continue growing both personally and professionally.
