Dubai-based Samana Developers has launched a residential project named ‘Skyros’ worth AED 510 million (USD 138.8 million) in Arjan. Inspired by the exotic Skyros Island in Greece, known for its white beaches, sea caves and seaside villages, ‘Samana Skyros’ features a mini-island with a similar design in addition to retail spaces.
The mid-luxury project is a continuation of the multiple projects launches that Samana Developers has planned for this year. Located in Arjan with close proximity to the Al Khail expressway and Mohammed Bin Zayed highway, ‘Skyros’ is surrounded by some of Dubai’s top tourist spots such as Miracle Garden, Dubai Butterfly Garden, Global Village, Dubai Autodrome, Mall of the Emirates and City Centre. It is also close to Mediclinic Hospital, GEMS Wellington School and Dubai Hills Mall.
The company is thrilled especially after a high investor turnover from Europe for its Greek island-themed projects. “We are constantly receiving overwhelming interest from European, Russian and CIS investors for our new projects, especially for those projects that embody Greek island themes and designs. ‘Skyros’ has been designed on the popular investor trend to meet the demand,” said Imran Farooq, Chief Executive Officer of Samana Developers. He further added, “Due to the pandemic, our resort-style projects performed well and reflected the fact that today’s buyers prefer to live in a healthy yet affordable environment. Samana Developers is doing well with its new themes such as the resort, island, private pools and a residential apartment converted into a holiday home. With our upcoming projects, we will be introducing innovative concepts.”
