Palm Hills Developments (PHD) has awarded Dorra Contracting the construction works of three commercial buildings in its flagship project Palmet New Cairo. The buildings will cover an area of about 30,000 sqm in the East Cairo development. Palmet New Cairo is a mixed-use project that spans over 100 feddan. It offers a variety of amenities, including an admin park, a headquarters building, a retail centre, a five-star hotel, and serviced apartments. The admin park consists of eight mixed-use commercial buildings with a total sellable built-up area (BUA) of 105,000 sq m.
Yasseen Mansour, PHD’s Chairperson and Group CEO, expressed his satisfaction with the partnership with Dorra Contracting, a well-established company with a proven track record. He said that this collaboration reflects PHD’s strategy to speed up the construction and development of its projects and deliver high-quality communities to its clients.

Palmet New Cairo is part of Palm Hills New Cairo, a 500-feddan project developed by PHD in partnership with the New Urban Communities Authority. The project is designed by Chapman Taylor, a globally recognised practice of award-winning architects, master planners, and interior designers. Chapman Taylor has received over 300 design awards worldwide and has successfully delivered more than 3,000 major projects across five continents and over 100 countries.
Palm Hills New Cairo comprises around 4,500 units of various types, including residential apartments of different sizes, townhouses, twin houses, and standalone villas.
