UK motorway and trunk road service area operator Roadchef has opened its latest High-Powered Super Hub with electric vehicle charging at Rownhams Services in Hampshire. Located outside of Southampton on the M27 eastbound, the hub is equipped with six 350KW chargers.
In common with other Gridserve Electric Super Hubs, the Rownhams hub features combined charging connectors (CCS) and one charger has both CCS and Chedemo connectors. It accepts contactless payment and provides real-time status updates to a number of popular EV charging maps. The chargers are powered by 100 per cent net zero carbon energy.
