Proptech company PropTechBuzz has announced the launch of its platform, which will try to transform how proptech products are launched and promoted worldwide. This will empower smaller companies by allowing them to showcase their innovations alongside larger competitors.
The firm aims to drive innovation and collaboration within the proptech industry by breaking down the barriers to technology adoption. It is eager to overcome the hurdles proptech companies face by providing global visibility and scalability.
While the platform is global, PropTechBuzz received early adoption from proptech companies in India and the Middle East. “Not surprisingly, we got a lot of support from India, which became the key region as our early adopters. India is also at the threshold of massive growth towards technology adoption in real estate in the next decade,” said Ravi Kumar Sapata, founder of PropTechBuzz.
“We’ve listened to the voices of proptech founders and CEOs, and we understand their pain points. With our platform, we are creating a level playing field where all proptech companies, regardless of size or marketing budget, can showcase their products and drive their growth on a global scale. The entire platform is designed for serendipitous encounters to happen across the community. By increasing the surface area of your exposure, you invite opportunities from places you would have least expected,” he added.
The platform’s journey is rooted in Sapata’s personal experiences and deep involvement in the proptech industry. Through his podcast, where he interviewed over 100 proptech founders, CEOs and VCs, he gained insights into the pain points faced by these companies. This included the lack of global visibility and scalability of many proptech products, low technology adoption in the real estate industry, and the challenges smaller proptech companies face in competing with larger players who often have big marketing budgets to splurge.
To address these challenges, Sapata set out to create a solution that would level the playing field and address the needs of the proptech community. The result was PropTechBuzz, a platform that offers a democratic and merit-based approach, providing equal opportunities for all proptech companies to amplify their brand and visibility.
Shajai Jacob, managing director and country head of ANACITY and ApnaComplex at ANAROCK, said, “We joined PropTechBuzz because of the pain point it is solving in the industry. It is not just the most comprehensive listing of all the proptech products, but also a promotional platform where these products are promoted without any bias and get visibility in the marketplace. It is the need of the hour. Hence, we didn’t think twice before supporting it.”
Angie Mahtaney, business mentor at BrigadeREAP, added, “The adoption of tech in real estate has a tremendous opportunity to grow. Solutions such as PropTechBuzz will add tremendous value by only accelerating this much-needed adoption of pathbreaking solutions.”
PropTechBuzz’s comprehensive suite of features includes a launch feed, community engagement with founders, product spotlight, reviews, forums, and educational resources. The platform provides a centralized hub where industry professionals, real estate agents, property owners, and technology enthusiasts can discover, evaluate, and engage with the latest proptech innovations.
