The company intends to use the newly-acquired funds to strengthen its existing platform, enter new markets, and solidify its position in the global real estate market. This expansion comes at a crucial time as the real estate industry navigates through significant regulatory and market-driven changes, including the EU’s ambitious goals for a climate-neutral building sector by 2050.
Predium harnesses cutting-edge technology, utilising data from energy performance certificates and invoices, and enhances it with AI, satellite imagery, and 3D modelling. This technology enables portfolio owners, banks, insurers, investors, and housing companies to effectively assess ESG risks and prioritise renovation projects to maximise cost savings and subsidy opportunities.
Jens Thumm, CEO and Co-Founder of Predium, expressed his enthusiasm for the funding, stating, “With Predium, we offer a solution that brings together ESG requirements, such as CSRD reporting, and economic interests. We enable our clients to make smart transaction and renovation decisions. In this way, real estate values can be increased. The interest shown by a large number of well-known investors confirms that Predium is successfully driving the transformation of the real estate sector.”
Agate Freimane, General Partner at Norrsken VC, added her perspective on the investment: “Real estate is experiencing a transformative shift as the need to decarbonise becomes urgent. We were drawn to Predium’s approach of partnering with real estate owners and operators to enable intelligent, data-driven decisions that both enhance asset value and promote sustainability. We are thrilled to support Predium on this impactful journey.”
Predium previously received increased investment from existing stakeholders, affirming the ongoing confidence in the company’s direction and strategy.
