Dubai based group of companies, Imdaad, recently held a bottle-recycling challenge in collaboration with the residential community at Dubai Silicon Oasis (DSO), an integrated free zone technology park in the city. The challenge required participants to deposit waste plastic bottles at specific locations and upload a picture of the deposit to a mobile application .Over the period of the challenge , the application witnessed enthusiastic participation of the residents with over 115 uploads. The event was a conglomeration of DSOA’s commitment to better environmental practices and Imdaad’s reputation as one of the region's most sustainable and environment conscious Facility Management companies. The initiative was one of Imdaad’s many endeavours to raise awareness about the importance of sustainability, recycling and community involvement in the same. They plan to roll out similar initiatives across neighborhoods in the UAE in the upcoming weeks.
