Farnek Launches TRENDZ for UAE’s Events Sector

New service to offer tailored facilities management solutions to the UAE’s rapidly growing events and exhibitions market

Farnek, a leading UAE-based smart and green facilities management (FM) company, has launched TRENDZ Events, a dedicated service provider offering comprehensive FM solutions for the UAE’s expanding events and exhibitions sector. The UAE event management market, valued at over $12 billion, is expected to grow at a rate of over 12% annually in the next five years, according to Mordor Intelligence.

TRENDZ provides end-to-end event management services, from initial planning to final execution. The company ensures a seamless experience with highly trained and dedicated staff performing various roles such as security, cleaning, maintenance, hosting, AV technicians, and even performing artists when needed.

Technical issues can disrupt even the best-planned events, and TRENDZ addresses this by having maintenance experts onsite to manage electrical issues or emergency repairs. Additionally, sustainability is a core focus of the company, with TRENDZ offering carbon-neutral event support through strategic carbon offsetting and eco-friendly practices.

TRENDZ’s waste management solutions include waste audits, sustainability-aligned plans, and training for staff and vendors on waste reduction, recycling, and composting practices. The company tracks waste performance with Farnek’s advanced data tool, WASTEK, ensuring efficient and responsible waste management throughout the event.

TRENDZ has already secured its first major event cleaning contract with Liwa Village, located 240 km south of Abu Dhabi in the Al Dhafra region. This three-month contract, valued at nearly one million dirhams, requires TRENDZ to provide cleaning staff to maintain hygiene standards across the expansive venue, ensuring an exceptional experience for visitors. “This contract with Liwa Village is a milestone for TRENDZ and will serve as an ideal platform to showcase our expertise in creating safe, sustainable, and welcoming event environments,” said Karthik Vijayamani, Managing Director of TRENDZ Events.
