Farnek bags 8 national pavilion contracts at Expo 2020

UAE-based Facility Management company, Farnek has signed contracts to manage 8 national pavilions at Expo 2020, slated to be held from October this year. This includes the national pavilions for Saudi Arabia, China, Bahrain, Switzerland, Morocco, Pakistan, and the Philippines. Speaking in an interview, Farnek CEO, Markus Oberlin mentioned how the pavilions for Saudi Arabia and China will be the most challenging to manage, requiring 130 and 80 team members respectively to work shifts throughout the 6 month period of the Expo. He credited the sheer size and unique design of both pavilions as the reason for their large management teams. In addition to this Farnek is also responsible for the hard and soft Facility Management services during Expo 2020 and Farnek Hospitality was selected as the FM service provider for the Expo 2020 accommodation village that houses over 2,273 new apartments.
