Ralf's journey with BSG began in 2007 when Josef Klueh, the owner of the Klueh Group, acquired the company after several years of market research and asked the former to join the Klueh Group in Dubai. BSG, which started as a small company in 1984, grew rapidly post this acquisition. Under Ralf's guidance, its revenue went from AED 95 million to AED 323 million in 2022 and the company’s workforce too has grown from 3,000 employees in 2007 to over 8,800 employees this year.
Ralf is now confident that Karl will carry the legacy forward and continue to drive the development of Berkeley. The two have already had a six-month transition phase to ensure a smooth handover.
With nine years of experience as the incumbent CEO of the International Business of Klueh Multiservices in Duesseldorf, Germany, Karl has a wealth of knowledge in facility management and has held various managerial roles, including serving as the director of a global real estate firm. One of his primary goals in BSG is to keep the customers satisfied with sustainable and long-term business solutions and align their requirements with market trends. He also aims at enhancing Berkeley’s energy-saving programmes, concentrating on operational efficiency and digital technologies that benefit both the end-user and the industry.
Karl believes that the facility management market is constantly evolving with solutions being easily attained with advanced technologies. He is confident that his team members with their diverse competencies will continue to lead the company to success.
